Along with you, the musicians, we have invited recording studio's and music promoter's to come listen to you, our local talent. Joseph Blood, Eldorado and Shiloh Lindsey are meshing their Vancouver roots via wheels and hooves, bringing their 3-band Mini-Festival to you. Have your listening ears and watchful eyes on them, holding tight your alt-country loving hearts as they’ll be stealing away with them once the night is through. Joseph Blood has been called the “Second coming of Gram Parsons”, a “true renaissance man” and “one of the classiest musicians you’ll meet”. Blood’s career has seen him playing and touring as guitarist for Bend Sinister, but he still found time to foray to the front of the stage, self producing his debut full length CD “For Friends and Family”. “Hitting all the best parts of modern Americana”, Blood’s songs are a blend of dark country, celtic punk and chamber pop. Eldorado have an unpretentious, alt-country sound all their own with roots in old-style country and new-style Americana/Canadiana. Tennessee born, Canadian raised, hot, sassy and sweet singer Angela Fama leads the five-piece with a sultry voice reminiscent of Mazzy Star, Patsy Cline and Margo Timmins that can cause you to both cry in your whiskey and then toe-tap your tears away.
